The Rotary Foundation
The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
Our Mission
Rotaract Clubs are sponsored by Rotary Clubs and are made up of young professionals under the age of 30 for the purpose of humanitarian service, networking, building goodwill, and promoting peace around the world. Rotaract on the international scale includes more than 8,000 Rotaract clubs in some 155 countries! The Rotaract Club at UW Bothell was founded in 2014 and relaunched as a community-based club in 2021 as the Rotaract Club of Northshore. Our specialty is serving with Woodinville Rotary and Northshore Interact Club at Tri-Club events. We are a professional development and leadership organization where members can accomplish their goals and develop new skills. We invite you to join us!
What is Rotaract?
Rotary Club of Woodinville
The Rotary Club of Woodinville started in 1987 and currently has over 50 members. As part of District 5030, Woodinville Rotary is part of a group of 56 Rotary clubs covering central Puget Sound from Edmonds on the north to Auburn in the south. Woodinville Rotary has completed many service projects benefitting the area such as Operation Warm Coats for needy children, Josh the Otter and the Water Safety Education project, and the Northshore Scholarship Foundation. In 2014, Woodinville Rotary decided it was time to expand their family and helped start and sponsor the Rotaract Club at UW Bothell, relaunched as the Rotaract Club of Northshore in January 2021.
